Full Description

To avoid players finding this page and figuring out how to complete the heist, I have chosen not to release a video of this, but instead explain how the heist works in general level. There are also couple of nice little “design choices” that I can’t mention here for the same reason.

This script features a multi-stage heist where players must first discover the heist by speaking with an NPC. Then they must find the next location based on the hints they are given and break in there. Inside that building they will find item required for next step as well as hints to find the next location. On that location the players find yet another item that is needed on the final step, as well as some instructions and hints on what to do and what to prepare for.

On the last phase the players must figure out what would be the best approach to infiltrate a large building. Inside the building the players must defeat a private army and grab whatever there is to steal.

Each step has at least two approaches for completing the objective, some of them are better than others. Finding the correct locations based on the hints challenges the players in a unique way. Players should be able to figure out better ways to complete each step the more they attempt and think the consquences of their actions.

This script was developed for ESX-Legacy and QBCore, however the core code does not require any specific framework, so you can easily modify this to work with something else you might be using. There are config files available for both client and server. There are also so called interface files for both server and client, where the framework dependant code is written, which allows you to easily find what you must modify and provide for the script in order to have this work on other frameworks.

This script also depends on three different MLOs, all which are not made by me, are not included in this, but are free to obtain and use at the time of writing this. To avoid players finding the description of this script and figuring out the locations, I have not included the locations here, but you will find the names and where you can obtain them on the README. You can also adapt the script through config files to work perfectly fine with any other MLOs if you choose.

The script has proper networking, syncing, security and failsafes. I have tried to take into account all possible edge cases, abuse attempts and weird situations. I have tried to optimize it as much as possible without affecting the user experience. The resource time is around 0.2ms at worst.

The script contains about 2400 lines of code at this moment. I try to provide as much support as possible regarding the config files and the interface files.
