Features
Built with roleplay in mind, this script focuses on balance and immersion, ensuring it enhances your server without disrupting gameplay.

  • Pilot a drone or drive an RC vehicle for a customizable battery duration.
  • Special police drone: If you use the drone as part of the police job, you’ll have access to a unique model equipped with facial recognition to identify pedestrians.
  • Range and battery limits: If you fly/drive out of range or the battery runs out, the drone or RC vehicle will be destroyed. If retrieved picked up, the durability (battery) will update upon pickup.
  • Nightvision: Enabled by default for both RC drones and vehicles, but can be configured to suit your preferences.
  • Thermalvision: Disabled by default for both RC drones and vehicles, but can be configured to suit your preferences.
  • Custom Damage Effects: Unique visual and audio effects are triggered when the entity (drone or RC vehicle) takes damage or is destroyed, enhancing immersion and feedback during gameplay.
  • A built-in stash for RC drones and vehicles to transport items. Perfect for police patrols, delivery missions, or just exploring the map in style.
  • If the RC drone or vehicle’s operator is eliminated, the RC unit will be destroyed.
  • Create your own addons for RC drones and vehicles. An example addon includes a taser module.
  • Take pictures using the RC drone or vehicle. Stored images can be retrieved from the SD card as in-game items.
  • Displays keybind buttons so players know how to control their RC drone or vehicle. Configurable to fade after a set time.
  • RC Drones and vehicles can be recharged near power outlets, with 9 configured charging spots in the PDM and some clothing stores.
  • RC Store, Leroy’s Electricals on West Mirror Drive, also supports RC charging (disabled by default).
  • Exports for targeting models or coords with RC drones and vehicles:
    • Allows customizable text and keybinds for interaction prompts.
    • When aiming at a designated model, a text prompt appears.
    • Hold Aiming the target for the full duration will activate a red laser, simulating a wireless connection.
    • The export provides a callback for success or failure, allowing custom implementation.
  • Added serial number & ownership tracking for RC items, designed for police investigations.
    • Each RC item now has a unique serial number (metadata.serial), allowing authorities to track individual units.
    • Items are registered to a citizen ID or stash ID (metadata.registered), helping law enforcement identify the owner or storage location of a seized RC device.
